Ashley - 33 weeks {Kelowna Maternity Photographer}

Meet Ashley and David. I met Ashley and David at Father Pandosy Mission in Kelowna for their maternity session. I had been to Father Pandosy many times before and it was usually a quiet place. When I arrived the night of their session, I was met with tractors, many tractors. Apparently they were getting set up for a tractor show. lol. It was an interesting sight and made me explore a little bit further. I am so glad I did. We found the perfect light!

Sophie - 17 days new {Kelowna Newborn Photographer}

Meet Sophie- 17 days new. Squishy lips, plump cheeks, gorgeous skin, soft hair, and a happy disposition. It was such a pleasure having Sophie in the studio for her newborn session.  She arrived a few weeks earlier than her expected due date; she must have been excited to join her mom and dad earthside! This sweet little baby girl slept for almost all of her session in my Kelowna studio.

When Should You Photograph Your Baby?

Well all the time, of course! But, the best time to hire a professional photographer is during special milestones in your baby's life. Beautiful photographs do not have to stop after your newborn session! I also photograph babies during milestone sessions in my Kelowna studio.

What are milestone sessions? These are times in which your baby has learned a new skill or two.

The first milestone session I suggest is around 3-4 months old. This is when your baby will be smiling and lifting their head with tummy time. If your baby is not yet lifting their head, no problem. Just wait until they are.

Next would be about 6-7 months old. Laughing, grabbing for toys, and sitting up unassisted are milestones for this age group. Little Rose below is just that age. The sessions don't require a lot of props; they are used just to enhance your little one so they are the center of attention.

Finally, at one year and beyond, your baby is crawling, standing, and maybe even walking. Tiny little baby teeth, baby rolls, and chubby fingers and toe will soon be gone - capture this moment before these all disappear.

If at any time, however, you wish to have your baby photographed, contact me for a session and we can work out the details!
